Has the World Series lost its luster?

I always here people talking about baseball's golden age in the 1940s 50s and 60s when the world series was played in the day and teachers would let students watch the game in the classroom. Now world series higlights are overshadowed by NFL action. Baseball has a viewership problem. I think baseball should try to put a couple of day games in the Fall Classic, specifically 1 o'clock. Also I don't think it is a coincidence that since 2003 there have only been 3 world series that went 6 games or more. In past decades, fans were used to seeing 7 game series all the time. Baseball fans are accustomed to watching 15 games a day everyday. This is why the WS can feel a bit boring. The DS is a far more exciting round with up to4 games a day. MLB must fix this problem soon.
Please,
A worried baseball fan
