Closer Addison Reed to D-backs

Just today, the Chicago White Sox traded Addison Reed to the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for prospect third basemen Matt Davidson. According to mlb.com, Davidson was Arizona's #2 prospect overall. He made his major league debut last season and batted .237 in 76 at-bats. Addison Reed, who has saved 69 games combined in the past two seasons, has competition for the closer's role in Arizona with J.J. Putz and Brad Ziegler.
