Strasburg Ready, Holland Not

In addition to my last post, here are some more players who's Opening Day status is in question. The Washington Nationals Stephen Strasburg had right elbow surgery to remove bone chips last October, but has fully rehabbed and is ready to go when spring training starts next month. Meanwhile, Derek Holland, one of the Rangers best young pitchers, has no exact return time. He is expected to miss most of the first half of the season. Holland had microfracture surgery in his knee earlier this month after going through a freak injury: tripping over his dog. In other news, Matt Garza's 4 year deal with Milwaukee has become official.
